Thorne Nature Experience

Project Details

Year Completed: 2025

Approximate Size: 35 acre site; 2 acres of disturbance

The Eagan site began as a raw, undeveloped mountainside with no existing access, trails, or clearings. Hyperion Excavating pioneered the first path into the property, carving a 1,500-foot driveway through challenging terrain, cutting into the untouched slope to establish safe and stable access. From there, Hyperion Excavating excavated for a residential foundation and built a future building pad with careful elevation planning and rock excavation to support the planned structures. Our team installed a compacted roadbase driveway and implemented erosion control measures to stabilize the exposed cuts and slopes. This project exemplifies our ability to turn raw, rugged land into a functional and build-ready site, even in remote or difficult terrain.
